Wedding time is normally considered a time of grand celebration, expenses and people. It is undeniably a couple’s personal decision either to have a grand celebration or a simple private affair with family and close friends. Your bonding, rituals and feelings are going to be the same with or without countless people. But how about a wedding WITHOUT a ceremony?
Being in the local wedding industry as Melbourne wedding videographers we often lay witness to all kinds of rituals that differ from culture to culture; Melbourne being a multi-cultural city. There are those who do tea ceremonies, morning games, morning pray-overs, first-look, Mehndi (art of body-painting with henna), and etc to pay respect to traditional and cultural beliefs. All of which add life and colour to the wedding day.
But how about a wedding without the traditional ceremony? Would you say then that the wedding day is incomplete without one?
