If you look up the word ‘intimate’ in the dictionary, you will find quite a few interpretations. Bucking the trend of big weddings, lately we have found ourselves smothered in cosy, private and closely acquainted atmospheres. There’s something about an intimate wedding, that leaves us filled with the emotions of the couple and their loved ones. Tears and laughter fill the air with exuberance, something often lost with big celebrations.
When Tu & Chris first met with us, they questioned if their wedding was too simple. Would it be sufficient to beautifully craft a wedding video? In all honesty, beyond all the magical details, what makes every wedding unique is the love shared between the couple and their loved ones. There is no greater definition to this than Chris humbly opening up about his proposal story. There was no extravagant or romantic plan, to wow Tu off her feet. Yet a more simplistic approach was taken, a unique symbolism of the love they shared. These are the moments that bring stories to life, nuggets that exude uniqueness to their own tale.
Suffice to say, their wedding was filled with an abundance of charisma, luxury, glamour and beauty. Unique details such as a hand-made paper flower wall, to picture frames of both Tu & Chris and their families decorated the ball room. Tu dazzled and amazed everyone, while Chris (Cutie Pie as his father described) impressed with a touch of his own cuteness. Our heart strings were most definitely stretched to their limits.
We loved each and every moment, and truly honoured to have witness an intimate affair of love and beauty.
